This trip was a dream come true! 10/10.Myself and my husband stayed for 16 nights last month(May), it was exactly what we needed. We aren’t into the party scene so staying in St Phillip is perfect for us.We hired a car from Mr T’s and that was flawless. Hiring a car meant we could come and go whenever and wherever. We met David at the villa and he was nothing but caring and welcoming and most helpful throughout our stay.Every single morning I couldn’t wait to open the roller blinds to see what the sky had to offer and listen to the waves crashing on the rocks below while sipping my morning coffee. It’s very cool and breezy(quite windy at times too).The pool was used every day and is perfect.I enjoyed cooking in the kitchen, it’s well equipped with everything you’ll need. We used the BBQ several times too.If you want to see panoramic views every day and prefer to be away from the hustle and bustle - You won’t be disappointed. Our only negatives are:The kitchen equipment could do with a little upgrade.We had a few baby centipedes in the bathrooms over the time there. We know not to touch them because they’ll sting you.

Beautiful cliffside views! David made arrangements to meet us at the airport the day we arrived. The property is less than 10 minutes from the airport. Check in was smooth. Just wished the bedroom had the fabulous view but all the bedrooms were located in the back of the house. We really enjoyed star gazing in the evenings.

I stayed at this property for 10 days and found it to be almost perfect. I was so mesmerized by the view and the ambiance of it that I cancelled tours and stayed at the house, mostly on the deck or in the pool.David was somewhat remarkable in his prompt, efficient and thorough handling of a few issues. He was so very kind, generous and patient with us - picked us up at the airport ( and took us to the grocery store twice!) and then dropped us off when we left. The bedrooms and bathrooms were well equipped as was the kitchen. We were relaxed and so blissfully satisfied that we started looking at our calendars to see when we could come back on the 2nd day that we were there. We didn’t rent a car and the house is somewhat remote but the taxi apps were fine. I can’t recommend this house highly enough. Two big thumbs up! First impression of this property is ideal. The swimming pool and decking area is stunning and overall the property was quaint. However, although the cleanliness on the surface was good, it became apparent the property hadn’t had a deep clean for a considerable time and the pillows for example, smelled damp and unpleasant. The toaster hadn’t been cleaned with breadcrumbs from past use evident. We felt compelled to wash the crockery before using. Overall, the villa was very dark, even more so when the shutters were down, which was a shame. We’d booked the villa for 8 nights, but lasted only 2 and sought alternative accommodation for the rest of our stay. It is such a shame, as it really is a little gem - it just needs a bit of work to bring it up to standard.
