I can honestly recommend this beautiful place for your stay in San Gimignano. The hosts were absolutely amazing and go out of their way to accommodate their guests. The property is very close to town so you can walk everywhere, we even walked to a wine farm. Safe to say that we will definitely stay here again if the opportunity arises.

We loved everything about this B&B. The hosts are exceptionally nice, the view is spectacular, beautiful property and great breakfast.

We stayed for 3 nights in this lovely house! The location is perfect- on a small , calm street, 3 minutes walk from Porta San Giovanni. There is a well stocked supermarket on the same distance. There is free parking in the yard. The garden is like a temple of colors and freshness - full with daisies, flowers and lemon trees! The room was spotless clean! Rustic and authentic elements and modern details at the same time. Bed was super comfy! They offer breakfast, which we didn't try, but I saw it ! Don't make my mistake- have a breakfast! It is so rich, fresh and looks great! You can have also coffee, cappuccino or wine during the day. In the morning, when you step in the fresh garden, first you hear the birds, then you feel the gentle wind and in the end you see the mighty towers of San Gimignano in all of its glory!!! Breathtaking and unforgettable view! And the most important - the Host! Francesca welcomed us as we were old friends! She made us feel like home, gave us excellent advices and tips and was always there to help us! Thank you sunny girl!! You made our vacation unforgettable! Tsvetan and Margarita

Il Fienile lives up to ALL the fabulous reviews--it's everything you dream of when you stay in Tuscany! Family owned and operated, it's a spectacular place just steps away from San Gemignano, parking on site, wonderful breakfast and coffee and you feel like family. Francesca and Mauro are the most hospitable hosts you will ever encounter. The breakfast is different every morning with fresh ingredients from their garden. Easy drive to Siena and Florence and they give you wonderful recommendations. I wish we could have stayed longer. Great value and spectacular stay!

The location and view were amazing and a short walk to the Port entrance. The family was incredibly nice and charming. Francesca and Mauro made us feel as though we were staying with family.

Francesca and her parents are excellent hosts. They are very nice and give a lot of tips for trips. The breakfast and the view of San Gimignano is really extraordinary. We had a wonderful stay.

It is not often one gives 10 when ranking the room. Here, it definitely should be 10 :) Very nice owner, magnificient view on San Gimignano from the garden where the breakfast is served. The breakfast is not just a breakfast - variety of rolls, cakes, yoghurt - most of them home made. As usual in Italy - very good coffee. Very close, walking distance to the city. The owner recommended us a trattoria in San Gimignano and it was really worth the price we paid there. All over - no single item to complain :)

It is nothing bad but when searching the location using Google maps it's a bit misleading. One should drive down the road approx. 200 meters even though the navigation claims you are just in front of the house :)

One of the rare ocasions where we couldn't find anything to complain we tried. Not that anyone would want to try as Francesca and Mauro give there everything to be the perfect hosts. They were always available for recommendations, requests or just a friendly chat and make you feel like home. The view from the garden on the valley and St Gimignano is outstanding.

The B&B lies just outsite the walls of San Gimignano and offers a beautiful view on the city. The hosts are very kind, willing to help and give good suggestions for activities in the area!

It is a very good place to stay, nice rooms and a great breakfast with a fantastic view of the city (which is close and within walking distance). But the most amazing are the fabulous hosts! We had car trouble and they helped us out in the most amazing way :-) You couldn't wish for more! Thank you so much!
