The location is very convenient, just 1–2 minutes from Puente de Vallecas metro station, with direct access to Madrid centro in around 10 minutes without changing lines. There are plenty of shops and fast-food options nearby, as well as a 24-hour Carrefour right across the street. The apartment itself is comfortable, nicely renovated and has everything you need for a short stay.
The main drawback was the price, considering the area where the property is located. The neighbourhood does not feel particularly safe, especially at night. On our first evening, we actually witnessed a theft at the Carrefour’s door (on the sidewalk), followed by a physical altercation between the security guard and the person involved. Apart from that, we had no issues during our stay.

The apartment was self catering, location was very handy for the metro and 24hr shop
The construction going on at this present time around and near the appartment, but I know this won’t last for ever
