The location, quirky loft bedroom

Beautiful spot and very private. Very tidy place and very accessible to the wedding venue we had to go to.

The drive way is very steep and definitely more 4wd suited. Very small price to pay for a perfect weekend getaway spot.

Compact but practical accommodation. Very clean. Plenty of beautiful birds and very quiet and peaceful. Essentially a very well thought out, comfortable and well-appointed shed. "Chalet" is a little comical but great vibe.

We didn't use the fire pit but I can see it would be great if you were organised enough to get firewood, which isn't supplied. The only slightly negative thing, but absolutely understandable, is the waft from the septic system when you're enjoying the serenity outside with a glass of wine. It was intermittent and variable in intensity .... but it was there. No way around that though so not a criticism.

The owners were lovely and accommodating. Lovely location.

Code for getting the key was different to what we were provided but we figured it out in the end
