The staff were incredible. We had an early morning at Manuel Antonio Park, so they prepped a breakfast for us the night before since we would miss the breakfast time. The grounds were beautiful and I loved going right into the ocean from our room.

I loved that it was so close to the beach. I loved having breakfast listening to the surf. I loved that it was close to great restaurants. The only tour we went on, a boat ride, was close and fun. My daughter loved the beachfront massage.
So we work in tourism, so we went in off season when we are not so busy. Always important to remember that you get a better price, but some things like restaurant hours and tours may not be available. We specifically went for the beach and got plenty of that.

Located directly on a stunning beach, the rooms are wonderful with large balconies/patios from where you can observe the local wildlife.

It sits right on the beach and was generally clean. That's it. I don't have anything else positive to say about this place.
You have to drive down a pothole-ridden alley to get to the property. It is complete chaos if you are there on a weekend with everyone in town parking wherever they can find a spot and the "parking attendants" trying to scam you out of money to park in "their" lot. This is a common theme everywhere in Costa Rica.
