Gute Lage im French Quarter. Gute Badezimmer. Große, voll ausgestattete und saubere Gemeinschaftsküche. Angenehme Hostelatmosphäre mit täglichen Aktivitäten. Gutes, kleines Frühstück (Pancake, Bagel, Kaffee).

Kein einziges Fenster im gesamten Hostel. Strikte Bettzuteilung (warum ein oberes Stockbett zuweisen, wenn das untere frei bleibt?). Gepäckaufbewahrung nach Check Out strikt nur bis 14 Uhr.

We LOVE this property. We visit every year and times in between.

The hostel was pretty good. Had a great welcome from the staff, and a few members, like Jamal and Sheila and Ray, were exceptional. Really nice kitchen, good bathrooms and great "happy hour". And you cannot beat the location.

Management is absolutely terrible, and treats the guests just as terribly. Overheard the GM constantly insulting the guests behind their backs, they steal your food, lie to your face (and talk down to the guests constantly) and literally throw people out at 11a. Never been at a hostel where they do not let people hang around the common area after checkout. This one poor girl, clearly from another country, had a late flight and when she asked to stay for a few hours, the manager told her, "You need to get out now. If you need to wait, you need to wait outside on the sidewalk and not in the hostel." Clearly the GM has never stayed in a hostel before. Also, there are absolutely NO WINDOWS, so the mold problem is horrendous. And one of the work-exchangers there who I was sharing a room with actually asked me to leave the room so he could have sex with another guest there. However, this is a good last-resort hostel if needed.

El alojamiento está muy bien ubicado, las zonas comunes son espaciosas, con juegos y una amplia cocina que puedes usar. Además me tocó pasar el día de Acción de Gracias donde el personal del hotel nos ha impresionado con un almuerzo en donde cocinaron pavo y comidas típicas de ese día. Muchas gracias por eso!

Si bien no tuve problemas con el colchón, la almohada no era muy cómoda y la cama no tenía cortina que me parece algo importante. Además deberían tener lockers con cerradura en la habitación para guardar objetos personales y una pequeña estantería donde colocar teléfono y billetera por ejemplo.

I liked almost everything about this place. Will most definitely be coming back and bringing more people.

There was a guest that was just too much in a negative way but that is not the fault of the business just the luck of the draw.

Servicio de una de las trabajadoras. El espacio se ve limpio y le hacen aseo constantemente. Se siente seguro. Está cerca de todo el centro de la ciudad.

The admin or owner is the son of a b4tch who yells if you stay in the lobby after the check-out. I was waiting for my Uber to the airport and she threatened and yelled at me. The place was almost empty, but that extremely short, old, and ridiculous chick hag wanted us to leave the space alone. One of the days, they did not have butter, nor peanut butter cream, just a shitty beagle with a dirty coffee. F4cking ridiculous chick!!!

Nothing, everything was perfect

La ubicación muy buena, cerca de la calle Bourbon dónde están todos los bares y lugares típico del French Quater. The happy hour todos los días, espectacular y muy divertido sobretodo la barra libre (cerveza, cocacola y agua) Los anfitriones son muy divertidos y atentos. La habitación amplia y cómoda con neverita y microondas. La cocina bien equipada. Los desayunos típico americano.

Cuando llegamos pensamos que el hotel no estaba, porque tiene sólo una puerta pequeña, nos dimos cuenta que era en el segundo piso del edificio. Abajo hay un estacionamiento. Llevamos un gran susto! y el check in es obligatoriamente desde las 15h00 por lo que llegamos en la mañana y tuvimos que esperar que se activara el pin. Me tocó una habitación que daba a la calle se escuchaba ruido (no me molestó) y la habitación quedaba muy iluminada por los postes de luz de la calle, las persianas dejaban pasar la luz recomendaría colocar cortinas.

Amazing value per money, clean and well kept, nice and big communal area and a big kitchen. Most of the staff is really nice.

They can be very strict and quick to blame, they came and told us to clean our dishes after we made dinner but we already stood and cleaned our stuff for 30 min and were very visible. It happened more then once and it was a bit frustrating

I love the setup. It's in a great location, short walking distance to Bourbon street, the Streetcar, and restaurants. I absolutely loved the vibe. The facility is very clean, it's secure and the staff is so welcoming & friendly. I think it's really cool that they offer so many activities outside of the hotel, it's a great way to explore New Orleans.

Wifi would come in and out.

The location was great, and you have to check out Ray if you're staying there. Ray will show you a good time and give you a good tour of the French Quarter.

This is our second time to City House. We love EVERYTHING about this property!! Lucas, Meg, Missy, and Connor were amazing. We love the vibe in City House!! Always a great time. Met some new friends. New culture. Always fun. Comfortable. Home like atmosphere.

Leaving😭

I wanted to visit New Orleans to see the history and experience the French Quarter. City House New Orleans was in the perfect location to do exactly this. The staff were great, the rooms were simple but exactly what I needed. And...uhm...free arrival drink AND free drinks at happy hour both nights I was there? Great place to meet other people and a homebase to explore. Would recommend
