It was comfortable (I slept well) and at a good location.

If we had needed to make dinner there, the kitchen would have been likely too little.

It is in a central location in Haliburton village. It has a decent kitchen.

The owner spent approximately 3 minutes showing us the unit. He did not explain anything to do with the heating system, period. It was extremely cold in the unit. When we woke up in the night my husband tried a number of times to get the heat turned up but after 5 minutes it would turn itself off. When we got up at 7 am it was only 12 degrees inside. There is an extremely flimsy door/wall made out of slats of pine which provides no sound or temperature protection from the front hallway. It would be possible to knock the thin poor quality wall down with a couple of shoves. There is no TV. The living area furniture is completely inadequate and uncomfortable. There is a fireplace but it is not available for renters’ use. The bathroom was the only room which had independent heat and therefore was warm. However, if you had a shower and stepped outside the bathroom you would freeze. Consequently we could not take showers and left the house and checked out at 7:45 in the morning-even though we had no reason to leave before regular checkout time.

Location was great - walkable into town. Had a good sized fridge. Comfortable bed and clean linens. Bathroom is large, modern and clean.

It was a bit noisy in the morning. No breakfast, just coffee and tea.

We had a lovely stay at 23maple; Robert was the best host and couldn't have been more accommodating, the bed was comfy and the property was at a great spot in town, will deffo come back if I'm in Haliburton again
