The apartment is phenomenal by Sicilian standards and well-located. You can feel the essence of Sicily from the balconies first thing in the morning. It has a very raw look—exactly the kind of Sicily I wanted to see right from my window at the start of the day.

Absolutly nothing

Location is good and the unit itself is comfortable.

My main complaint is the medieval spiral staircase. It's difficult to navigate even without luggage; with large bags, it's a real struggle. As a strong six-foot-five man, I managed, but for this to be a viable rental, the host should offer help with luggage. Additionally, the nearby parking lot didn't accept credit cards. This wasn't a huge hassle for us since we were out often, but if you wanted to park all day, you'd need a lot of change. It was manageable because the night rate was lower, so leaving early in the morning only required 3-4 euros in coins. They have an app, but it's only in Italian.
