ロビーが少し狭かった タクシー待ち時間が少し長い（最初にタクシーがなかなか来ないことを知らせて欲しかった）

The room was nice, the hotel has breathtaking views, staff were lovely. There are local massage places just in the town that are 1/6th of the price of the hotel.

The sea. Around the island to the south and east and west there is crystal clear waters with exotic animals, tropical fish and sea turtles etc. The sea at the hotel is next to a huge harbor and surrounded by artificial break waters and the waters is just very cloudy. with visibility of about 2m max. If I went to Miyako again, I would stay on the southern part for the better sea. Also breakfast was busy, so the 2nd and 3rd day we went for later breakfasts, after going for a swim 1st. If you go around 9am . 10am, the food runs out, like jams, pastries, etc The staff will refill them is asked, but I don't feel at a hotel like this I should have to be asking for items to be refilled. The food available was good though. Also there are only a few beds round the pools and fewer umbrellas for cover, odd considering the size of the hotel.

We stayed for a weekend trip to the island and we were able to enjoy the amenities of the hotel while running out to see some sights around the island. We upgraded to an executive level room after we had already paid for a rate with breakfast included. They offered us the option to enjoy the breakfast in the lounge and get the buffet lunch included instead. I thought that was nice to honor what we already paid for and still get the benefits of the lounge. The hotel is only three years old and is beautiful. We liked the lobby decor and the conditions of the room - it still looks new. The grounds are very well kept and there are four pools to choose from. We enjoyed the food in the lounge (breakfast, snacks, tea, and evening canapes and drinks). The lounge also has a beautiful view. The main dining room offered great options for breakfast and lunch buffets. The hotel has public beach access and is near a small set of restaurants (Yard Miyakojima) so there are some easy off site options if you want them. We were able to easily drive to other sites around the island from the hotel. The staff were very friendly and made a point to know our names and room numbers in the executive lounge. We had a lovely experience staying there and the staff and ambiance of the hotel made it a very relaxing and effortless trip.

If I had to say anything, I would say that the afternoon tea is a bit small in the lounge, it offered a few small cakes and cookies. It isn't a traditional afternoon tea with scones and sandwiches that we have gotten in lounges in other hotels. I saw that they offer afternoon tea in the main lobby lounge, but we didn't have time to try that. I'm assuming that might have been the more traditional tea service. Again, not a problem for us, but just not what we exepected when we saw afternoon tea.

미야코지마 힐튼 리조트는 오픈한 지 얼마 되지 않아 전체적으로 깔끔하고, 건물의 첫인상도 상당히 인상적이었어요. 내부 인테리어와 조경도 멋스럽게 잘 꾸며져 있어서 리조트 안을 둘러보는 재미가 있었습니다. 위치도 관광지나 주변 지역으로 이동하기에 편리해서 좋았어요. 디너 뷔페는 음식 종류가 아주 다양한 편은 아니었지만, 음식 하나하나의 맛은 만족스러웠습니다. 그리고 무엇보다 직원분들이 정말 친절해서 머무는 동안 기분 좋게 지낼 수 있었어요. 전체적으로 깔끔하고 세련된 분위기에 친절한 서비스까지 더해져 편안하게 쉬기 좋은 리조트였습니다.

아쉬웠던 점도 몇 가지 있었어요. 먼저 리조트 내부 동선이 생각보다 복잡해서 처음에는 조금 헤매게 되더라고요. 곳곳을 빙 돌아가야 하는 구조라 직관적이지 않은 점이 아쉬웠습니다. 호텔 내부에서 흘러나오는 음악도 전체적으로 리듬이 빠른 편이라, 기대했던 리조트 특유의 느긋하고 여유로운 분위기를 느끼기에는 조금 아쉬웠어요. 객실에 들어갔을 때 TV에서 나오는 영상과 음악도 매번 반복해서 듣다 보니 개인적으로는 조금 부담스럽게 느껴졌습니다. 수영장 주변의 썬베드와 구명조끼, 튜브 등의 수량도 충분하지 않아 이용하기가 쉽지 않았고, 해변에서는 파라솔을 시간 단위로 대여해야 하는 점도 아쉬웠어요. 또 리조트 내부에 간단한 간식이나 음료를 살 수 있는 매점이나 자판기가 없어서 조금 불편했고, 세탁기와 건조기 역시 수량이 많지 않아 이용하려면 타이밍을 잘 맞춰야 했습니다. 특히 가족 단위로 장기간 머무는 경우에는 세탁 시설이 조금 더 여유롭게 마련되어 있으면 좋겠다는 생각이 들었어요.
