The place was very spacious and quiet, sparsely equipped but efficient. It also had a washer/dryer (we didn't use it), but it was a nice amenity for busy travelers. The location was good- a 15 minute walk to the ferry port and near a top 10 rated family owned restaurant spanning multiple generations. The peek-a-boo views of the boats going in and out of the harbor at night were remarkable as the place seemed farther away from the ports than it actually was.

Simple on-site directions as to how to activate the hot water would have been nice. While directions to the heating system were posted in a lengthy check-in attachment, we were not expecting a cold shower after a long day of travel. Lesson learned, read the fine print. Also, the place could use some cosmetic attention as the floor board moulding was coming away from the wall in multiple rooms which could result in a tripping hazard at night when navigating to the bathroom in dimly lit conditions. Lastly, the musty smell in the entryway and stairwells were slightly off-putting (easy to fix with greater circulation and an odor eliminator/freshening device).

We stayed 2 nights and the location was perfect for our port departure. We didn’t explore any further than Piraeus as we are returning to Athens at a later date. We are a family of 2 kids + 2 adults and we were looking for an easy ferry departure which this apartment was perfect for. The owners were flexible with an early check in for our early flight which was very much appreciated.

There was nothing we didn’t like. Good location and great local restaurants/cafes up the hill. There were some simple things that need attention but nothing major (sofa needs a good clean, curtains need rehung as they were off the tracks, the bathroom sink plug needs replaced as it was broken and the shower drain cover kept coming off).

Wonderful apartment in a great location in Piraeus! Communication with the hosts was simply excellent - they took care of everything and were extremely responsive throughout our stay. The apartment is very comfortable and well-equipped, with everything needed for a pleasant stay. The incredibly large garage is a true luxury for Athens and definitely a big advantage. Just a few steps away, there is a bus stop with routes that can take you to the metro station or directly to the city center if you prefer a longer ride without change. The view from the apartment is amazing - truly a pleasure! Our son loved watching the ships and could spend hours enjoying the sight. We highly recommend it and will definitely return on our next visit to Athens!
