Alina Garden Boutique Resort - Huangshan Scenic Area

Beautiful and charming large old house full of character with original wooden features retained and panoramic views across rice fields and rural landscape. Large garden with access to surrounding country area with running streams and walk paths. Roof access with views of surrounding hills. All of this provided a slow pace very relaxing atmosphere. The friendly helpful English speaking owners Armin and Sammi made this feel more like a stay with old friends or distant relatives. Easy walking distance (3km) to historic Hongcun village and half hour taxi ride to Huangshan mountains made the location nicely convenient.

It felt like a peaceful retreat - not what I would normally go for on a holiday. There was nothing that I didn't like - the closeness might not be for everyone - but this is a homestay and not a hotel.

Alina is located outside Hongcun in a beautiful countryside, surrounded by rice paddies, creeks and mountains. The hotel is very nicely decorated and well equipped. We had a memorable and relaxing stay.
