Beautiful lake front home with breathtaking views from virtually every room/area. Great dock and lake swimming. We had a great week at this property!

We had a wonderful stay at this property! The **location is fantastic**, and the pictures online are an exact match for what the house looks like in person. The Highlights: * **Amazing Lake Access:** The dock is nice, and we had a blast using the provided kayaks. * **The Hot Tub:** It was clean, hot, and the perfect way to unwind in the evenings.A Few Things to Note: * **Amenities:** Make sure to pack your own beach towels, as none were provided. Also, the downstairs TV was missing its remote during our stay. * **Connectivity:** The Wi-Fi was quite spotty. The host, Jim, was incredibly nice and actively tried to fix it for us, but it still wasn't working properly by the time we checked out. * **Surroundings:** We noticed a few dogs roaming around the neighborhood loose, just something to keep in mind if you have pets or small kids.Overall, it’s a beautiful spot and Jim was a responsive host. We would definitely recommend it for a lake getaway!

We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home on peaceful Lake Norman with scenic views. It was well appointed with everything we needed.

Overall, we had a nice week at the lake, but there were several issues future guests should know about. The home has a great layout with a bathroom for every bedroom, so no one had to share. The covered second-story porch overlooking the lake was our favorite place to relax, and the garage game room with the pool table was a fun bonus. The neighbors were also very friendly.Unfortunately, communication with the owner was poor. I reached out several days before check-in for arrival instructions and received no response. After contacting VRBO support and being told we might need a hotel for the first night, the owner finally sent the entry code just 15 minutes before check-in.The listing says the marina is nearby, but it’s directly across the canal. While convenient for boaters, expect constant forklift noise and heavy boat traffic during the day. There were also maintenance issues. The grill was broken, one bathroom light didn’t work, and the Wi-Fi never worked during our week-long stay, which meant the TVs didn’t work either. We reported it at the start of our stay, but the owner didn’t respond until the second-to-last day. The hot tub was a nice amenity but needed cleaning. The home has a lot of potential, but more responsive communication and better maintenance would make for a much better guest experience.
