We spent a month in this conveniently located flat. The host was very responsive to our questions. I cannot imagine a better place to stay if you are interested in visiting museums, theatre, restaurants, or shopping in London. Convenient tube stations and bus stops add to the ease of getting around. We ate breakfast and about half our other meals in the flat. The nearby Sainsbury's and the nice-sized refrigerator made that easy. The kitchen is well-supplied with all the basics. The only thing we had to add was an ice tray. The pleasant small walled patio has a table and two chairs; a nice spot for enjoying tea or a snack. (However, it does need some washing down as it has accumulated some city dust.Washing machine was great since we aimed to travel light, and laundry detergent was supplied. Clothes on a drying rack take a while to get dry so we had to prepare in advance. The only real complaint is about the small number of towels and absence of face cloths. One bath towel and one hand towel per person for a two week period just did not meet our needs. (I mentioned this to the host, and he acknowledged that he may need to adapt for long term renters.) Although the host was confident that face cloths were provided they were not; we had to purchase some. All in all, this was a great place to call home for a month. I would happily stay there again -- but I would be sure to bring along some face cloths and insist on more bath towels.

The perfect location and wonderful flat! We were traveling with an 8 and 10 year old and this flat was perfect for them. We could walk everywhere and the flat was large enough for us to have our own space. Highly recommend.

Couldn’t ask for a better stay. The location was perfect for our family as we were able to walk everywhere. Our host was very accommodating to our flight changes, we didn’t have any issues with the accommodation, but if we did, I’m sure our host would have been more than helpful.

Overall we had a very successful stay, but there were definitely things that could easily be improved. Starting with the positive. The location is fabulous, only a few minutes walk from Covent garden, seven dials, SoHo and in between two major tube stations! The check in was easy and the apartment lender communicated in a timely manner. The apartment was adorable. The shower pressure was great. The kitchen had everything one would need. There were some negatives. The listing said there would be amenities including soap, shampoo, and conditioner, laundry soap etc. there was one tiny bar of soap and two rolls of toilet paper for 16 nights. No shampoo, no conditioner, no kitchen towels, no laundry soap. There is a washer, but NO dryer, and it was so damp and humid in the apartment our clothing took days and days to dry. We basically couldn’t utilize the washing machine. They gave us each one towel for 16 nights.There was no cleaning service for the entire stay. I think once a week or at least midway through would have been nice. The apartment needs a refresh as many of the surfaces are looking worn out including the bedding. The pull out sofa is beyond lumpy and the comforter insert was ratty. The master bedroom needs a bedding refresh as well. The rug in the master bedroom was dirty and needed a good vacuum. The apt is in a basement. The city noise is loud.
