The place is a beautifully hidden spot, ideal for groups of friends or families, surrounded by nature, olive groves and vineyards. You go "back in time". The house has a vibe. Close to all the famous little towns and beautiful spots, Castellina in Chianti is a beatiful place as well with lots of cosy restaurants with great food and friendly staff.

There are lots of things to improve and renovate. As somebody else was writing, the villa has got potential, but it has not been used. We arrived at the beginning of April and the house was 15 degrees during the first night (16 degrees second night), the owner should definitely heat the house at least two days in advance, not two hours (trying to heat with the air conditioning did not help at all). The bedsheets were thin and poor, we had to use some old woolen blankets and make a fire in the kitchen in the morning (the wood was not dry enough). The old separated iron beds in one of the rooms were terrible, squeeking during every movement so we almost could not sleep. In the small bathroom upstairs, the toilet and wasbasin were leaking, so pools of water on the floor constantly. There also was no heating at all so having a shower there was a real challenge. Everything is very very old (why not) but it has to be functional. There were just 7 old cups in the kitchen so it would definitely be not enough if there were more people. We missed an electric kettle for making tea quicker than heating water on the gas stove. There were hair dryers but did not fit in the plugs (luckily we had our own adaptors). You have to be careful while driving to the house but this is a common thing in Tuscany and was not such a problem even with small cars.

Unglaublich schönes Haus mit kompletter Privatsphäre. Es gibt einen kleineren Privaten Pool und einen größeren den man auch benutzen kann. Es ist etwas rustikal, doch genau das hat uns gefallen. Lorenzo war ein wunderbarer Gastgeber! Sehr gerne kommen wir wieder!

C'est une vieille maison incroyable, pleine de recoins et décorée à l'ancienne. C'est un petit joyau. Nous avons profité de 2 piscines . C'est un lieu idéal pour une grande famille ou.2 familles et pour tous les âges !

Le chemin se mérite un peu 1,2km de chemin non goudronné. Mais on ne Le regrette pas !
