Man hatte viel Privatsphäre, der Außenbereich war schön zum sitzen, man hatte Zeug um sich auch was zu essen zu machen. Morgens wurde Free Yoga angeboten und es gab kleine Snacks zum Frühstück.

Die Toiletten sowie die Duschen hätten etwas sauberer sein können.

The hostel was very successful, both with its free yoga classes and the delightful morning treats. The rooms were quite spacious according to island standards. I regret wasting my time in other hostels.

Que te cobrarán casi 50€/noche por una cama en una habitación que no tenia ni una sábana para taparte. Los baños estaban sucios las dos noches que estuve, en la ducha había un bicho enorme muerto y ni se molestaron a quitarlo y los Wc ni te cuento. El recepcionista no hablaba inglés con lo cual nos explicó nada y menos (me enteré por una compañera de habitación que hacían clases de yoga). Sinceramente, si el precio fuera 5€/noche la reseña sería otra, por mucha isla o full moon que haya más que una estancia ha sido un robo.

During my trip to Ko Phangan, I had the pleasure of staying at a place that exceeded my expectations. The staff's genuine friendly and attentive, combined with the hostel's prime location in the heart of Ko Phangan, make it a standout choice for travelers. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed by a warm and friendly atmosphere. The staff went above and beyond to ensure guests had a comfortable and enjoyable stay, offering local insights, organizing engaging activities, transfer to places (e.g. pier and scooter rental place) and creating a sense of community among travelers. The hostel's strategic location allowed easy access to Ko Phangan's stunning "center", and vibrant nightlife, making it the perfect base for exploration. The communal areas provided ample opportunities to connect with fellow travelers, and the accommodation, in my case a shared room, was both comfortable what you would expect from a hostel. In summary, my stay at this Ko Phangan hostel was exceptional, and I can't wait to return for more great moments in this great little island!

I had a great stay!

I think this hostel is perfect for solo travellers, because there is a very open en friendly atmosphere in the hostel and people are very open to connect with others. The owner of the hostel is also very friendly and makes you feel very welcome!

During my week-long stay (2 days were planed , but I enlongated the Stay) at barsay hostel, I had an incredible experience that exceeded all my expectations. The owner, Tashin, truly made my visit exceptional with his warm hospitality and genuine care for his guests. Every morning, I was greeted with delicious muffins and coffee, starting my day on a delightful note. In the evenings, Tashin went the extra mile by offering popcorn, adding a touch of comfort and indulgence to my stay. What impressed me the most was Tashin's thoughtfulness in ensuring that visitors had a convenient and memorable experience. When it was time for me to depart, he kindly offered to accompany me back to the pier on his bike, making sure that I had a hassle-free journey. His personal touch and attention to detail truly made me feel valued as a guest. Overall, my time at barsay hostel was nothing short of remarkable, thanks to the volunteers and Tashin's exceptional hospitality. I would highly recommend this place to anyone seeking a delightful and memorable stay. The combination of comfortable accommodations and Tashin's genuine care for his guests creates an inviting and welcoming atmosphere. I cannot wait to return and create more wonderful memories at this charming establishment.

Great hostel. Really good people come there and its easy to socialize.

I stayed here for quite a while and I felt really comfortable at the hostel! All of the staff was really helpful and friendly and there are good communal appliances we can all use at the entrance of the hostel.

Only small thing was that the WiFi connection in my room was not very strong but I still managed to do an everything I needed to do in the common area.

I was so surprised when i see owner wake up early every morning and make some bakeries for all guests.I think he loves his work .and I was so grateful for the hostel's travel desk. The staff helped me plan my activities and provided useful tips to make the most of my time on the island.True adress to feel at home.

Everything was amazing!

feels like I’m one of the family members and this is my home in Koh Phangan now. not a party hostel, but good to hang out here in the evening. I booked 1 night, but have been extending every day. I don’t feel like leaving. I don’t want to.

Property is walking distance from the pier. New furniture is really good.

The hostel's central location made it convenient to explore all corners of Koh Phangan. I managed to cover so much during my stay.

Everything was nice

The staff here went above and beyond to make sure we had an amazing time. They organized fun activities and social events, creating a fantastic sense of community among the guests.

This hostel was a hidden gem in Koh Phangan. It provided a tranquil escape while still being close to all the action. I loved the laid-back vibe and the beautiful garden setting.

I had a very good stay on Phangan Barsay Hostel. Staff very friendly and willing to support you in anything you need. Location is one of the best, 5 min walkin from Thong Sala pier and night market.

I realy can recomment this hostel. It was a nice stay for few days. The orner is just amazing and Help with every Problem you have. Give good Tipps for Exploring the island. When im comming again to phangan i stay in this cosy and beautiful hostel!

I have seen many hostels in my life, but I have never seen one as clean and peaceful as Phangan Barsay. Everything was perfect, from its location to the staff's attentiveness. It's an ideal place for long stays. Unlike other party hostels on the island, it's one of the rare hostels where you can sleep peacefully. I can't wait to come back next year.
