Fantastic host that kept in touch with us all the time, met us and drove us back to train station.
Location within 3 minutes walking to the seaside.
A lot of free meal provided by the host (croissants, yogurts, water, tea, coffee, cheese, processed cheese, butter) - you can find it all the time not just during the breakfast.
There was a constant smell of mold. The room itself was absolutely clean, but the entire facade of the building on the other side of the wall (on the neighboring part) was covered in mold. Unfortunately, this seems to be quite common in Scalea.
There was also a sewage smell whenever we turned on the water.
The accommodation consists of a shared common area and three rooms. Rooms #2 and #3 are reached by a very steep staircase, which is quite uncomfortable to use, and carrying a suitcase upstairs can be a real challenge.
There was no shower gel or shampoo provided.

Parcheggio gratuito disponibile in strada.
