Vrij donker appartement, wél keurig ingedeeld en mogelijkheid van bubbelbad en sauna. Géén buiten faciliteiten helaas.

Appartement, badkamer etc, hygiene was in orde dwz schoon en netjes en voldoende handdoeken. Het appartement is centraal gelegen in het plaatsje Avize. Bakker, Slager, pizzeria en tapas restaurant waren om de hoek. Cafe op loop afstand. Epernay makkelijk aan te rijden binnen een half uur. Goede prijs kwaliteit verhouding

Toen we arriveerde was het erg warm. Om de temperatuur te kunnen regelen moesten alle ramen open, Door de wind kwam er verkoeling. De ramen in de woonkamer kun je niet vastzetten en je moet daardoor alertblijven op windvlagen. `s Nachts moeten de ramen en deuren dan weer dicht en loopt de temperatuur op.. In de steeg naast het appartement werd gerookt

Nice, clean apartment. Avize is a quiet town in the lovely Champagne region. Caroline is a nice host.

The apartment was unbearably hot throughout our stay, day and night. We had booked 5 nights but left after just 3 nights in what felt like a sauna. Older guests and anyone with health conditions would be better off avoiding this -otherwise very pleasant- apartment during the warmer months of spring and summer. It is the only house on the street without shutters. The large living-room windows used to have shutters, but these have been removed. As a result, the windows receive direct sunlight all day. There are curtains on the inside, but they cannot be drawn while the windows are open. When we arrived, the bedroom was in full sunlight. Although it has roller blinds, they had been left open. Caroline kindly brought us a second fan, but even with all the windows open at night, we could not get rid of the heat. The bed linen is synthetic, so we ended up sleeping on the shower towels. The neighbours also smoked roughly every half hour between 5.30 a.m. and 11 p.m., which caused our bedroom to smell strongly of smoke. In an attempt to cool down, we visited the lovely, refreshing swimming pool in Connantre twice. It seemed a shame to spend more money, but we were so tired and overheated that we decided to book another hotel after all—one with shutters, cotton bed linen, air conditioning and a swimming pool.
