Ranasa Yogyakarta

When was the last time you felt heavy for leaving a place? Mine was yesterday. I stayed in Ranasa for 4 nights and leaving it feels like I am departing from my summer holiday in my grannie's house. Staffs were excellent and friendly, breakfast was great with great portion and taste, property was clean even include the common area such as living room and shower room, bed was comfortable. As a guy living in the city my whole life I am not used to the wild mosquitoes in the bungalow but I guess its a sign for me to contact with the nature more. The location was superb. It is quiet but with a short walk we reached the Tirtodipuran street, the chic area in the town. I got everything I need within this one kilometre street. I got a bookshop, wide range of food options in price and cuisine, gelato shops, art shops, specialty coffee shops, mart, hidden bar, you tell me. And travelling to Malioboro is still considerably close (4km or ~12 mins by motorbike). I talked with one of the staff and she said that this property might not be the cheapest option in town, and I am happily so. The gap in quality with the cheaper one is enormous, and I am happily paying for that. I can also see that the travellers staying here are highly respectable to the others, so that I felt safe during my stay.

Nothing on top of my mind. Maybe something will come out when I think about it more but it will be only my nitpicking. Nothing significant was concerning during my stay and I am happy for that.

I didnt like there was only 1 toilet for the whole hostel. The rest was all ok :)

Tolle Idee mit den Hütten, gute Lage, gutes Frühstück

Es war sehr hellhörig, die Wände waren wie Pappe. Der Geruch in unserer Hütte war leider nicht tragbar (meiner Meinung nach Schimmelgeruch). Das Outdoor-Bad hat leider auch geschimmelt und unangenehm gerochen.
