I rented this house for our annual Mom/Sisters get-away because of the location and layout of the bedrooms/bathrooms. The house is nicely decorated with an open layout. It was well stocked with everything you need. We were greeted with a hand-written note from the owners as well as coffee/tea K-cups for the Keurig machine and a bowl with snacks/treats. This was much appreciated. The light switches and cabinets are labeled which made it easy to find what you are looking for. After parking in the driveway, there is a nice ramp to the front door. The main level has the kitchen, dining rm, living rm, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, laundry rm. From this level you can walk out to the main deck to enjoy the view of the lake and sunsets. This layout works well if someone has difficulty with stairs. The lower level has a family room, kitchenette, 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. We had fun using the ping-pong table. From this level you can walk out to a covered patio area that is beneath the deck above. From the patio there are stairs to get to the dock on the lake. The neighborhood is nice and Center Lake was quiet with only a few boats out in the distance. This home is in great location away from the heavily touristy area and yet close to things to do. We went to gift shops, candy store, and downtown Spirit Lake which has restaurants and more shops. The owners were quick to respond to any questions we had. We enjoyed our time here and would rent from John and Tina again.

Nice size and location. Could have used a grill.

Home is in exceptional condition. 4 large bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. Beautiful sunset views.

We had the best time at this property. Great location, super clean, and very friendly host. We would definitely stay again!
