Location, space and features

It is a beautiful, historic home in a great location for mountain biking and seeing the local area. Beds are very comfortable & hosts great at responding promptly to questions. Very peaceful location with lovely views from the comfy couch on the front verandah.

It was a bit cold in the bedrooms and bathroom at night, but of course this is to be expected in an older house in the Tasmanian winter, and electric blankets certainly help!

Great little quaint cottage would have loved to stay longer. The kitchen is well stocked with the necessities to make cooking easy and plenty of firewood to keep the fire going. Great collection of books to relax reading in the cosy living room by the fire. The location is great with an easy walk or ride into town (with or without kids). For kids, there was a trampoline in the front yard, pademelons on the lawn, and a great little toy basket which was a perfect entertainer on a cold and wet afternoon. These are the little extras that make it a lot easier with kids, we could've stayed for a week.

Location was good.

The television didn't work.
