Smart modern apartment.

Loved the building and location to Bermondsey street. The apartment is cute and historical. The bed was super comfy. It’s a 10- 15 minute walk to Borough Market, London Tower Bridge, Tower Bridge station and Uber Ferry stop. I recommend using e-bicycle rental (which are readily available outside your door). It took me a couple of days to use one and I had wished I had done it sooner. Although the busy roads can be intimidating, many have designated bike lanes and you can always look for alternative side roads to use. I also loved the ferry option. It is a little more money but it’s so comfortable, less crowded, and you can sight see along the way. If you plan to use it multiple times buy the day pass. There is a cute little bookstore (Morocco Bound) that serves beer, wine and coffee just outside the door. They also had some nice live music a couple of nights. Our favorite nearby dinner was at Cafe Murano and pizza at Franco Manca (we ordered in) Excellent and fun coffee and smoothies at Fuckoffee. Just a sidebar…I left behind a ring and the management staff found it and mailed it back. Throughout the stay they were helpful and responsive. My second sidebar is don’t forget you’re downtown and expect to hear some street sounds.

Location / social space

One of the showers wasn’t in service. We are 4 people so that was a minor distraction

I love the area, the street is so nice and such a lovely part of London. The appartement is good size and the beds are comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped.

The appartement is not isolated at all. You have the impression that the people in the street are walking and talking in your room. It is also extremely hot when it is hot outside. There is no real lock (people can not open from outside but you don’t have a key inside to lock.) strange smell. There are mice traps over the place so i suppose there are (or were?) mice in the building. I didn’t see them.
