It’s a fairy tale house in the middle of beautiful village. Very beautiful and comfortable. Very nice neighbor and easy communication with host.
Nothing.

Very nice and cozy place with stunning views from the private terrace. Friendly owner and housekeeper!
Be careful when driving within the citywalls - the cobble stone lanes are not really ideal for bigger cars 😊 and make sure to bring food & drinks to the place - no grocery shops in the old town!

The visit to Monsanto and the stay in this beautiful historic house were the highlights of our trip to Portugal.
We loved strolling around Monsanto, especially in the golden hour as the sunset light bathed the giant boulders and stone houses, and relaxing on the breathtaking terrace of the house.
We very much appreciated the detailed instructions from the owner on where to park the car and how to check in.
