Good location Nice apartment Easy check in process

Had a smell of smoke , as if its a smoking apartment and only had two odd wine glasses 🍷

The property was clean, spacious and welcoming

The wait for the lockbox key code and lack of cooking utensils

Fantastic apartment so much room decorated very well comfortable bed and everything clean

Hard to get through to lady to get key code may be it would be better to just text code so there isn’t a problem on phone

The accommodation itself was nice and clean, and overall the place was comfortable. However, there were a few issues during the stay that I think future guests should be aware of.

After I had already paid in full through Booking.com, the host requested an additional £100 deposit to be sent directly to her personal bank account. This felt quite sketchy and unexpected, especially as it wasn’t clearly explained beforehand or handled through the Booking.com platform. The host also complained that the heating had been set to 30 degrees, despite there being no instructions provided about temperature limits or guidance on how the heating should be used, which felt unfair. Another confusing issue was being charged an extra £4 even though I booked for five people and only four actually turned up. Since I had already selected and paid for five guests, this additional charge didn’t make sense. While the property itself was good, these issues with unexpected charges and unclear rules affected the overall experience.
