Location and very hospitable owner

Bed uncomfortable, no mirror in room.

We received a friendly welcome from our hostess after having parked the car inside the security gate. We were shown to a cosy and compact double room on the first floor next to the comfortable shared bathroom. Our room had tea/coffee making facilities as well as a microwave and crockery/cutlery if we wanted to heat up our own food or eat a take-away from the chippy about 50 metres away. Alternatively we could walk down the hill to the town with its bars and cafes which takes about 20 minutes

The fire was amazing, so calming and peaceful

Super helpful host, definitely went above and beyond expectations. Very clean and accommodating of our dogs.

Only one small niggle, you are attached to there house so could hear moving around. But this was not much and the only thing that was a bit off-putting. But we are definitely going back. So that speaks tonnes...

just wasn’t a tv in room but the lovey lady gave us her laptop to watch films

The location was perfect for our needs - we were en route to a holiday in Cornwall travelling from North Lincolnshire. The room was clean and comfortable with tea/coffee making facilities and nice bathroom toiletries. We had three small dogs with us and so it was important that we had access to outside space. Being right next to a garden space was perfect.

For the very reasonable price, there was nothing to fault.

Sehr nette Gastgeber, die uns den Aufenthalt so angenehm wie möglich machen wollten. Als Pärchen waren wir in der BBQ Lodge und das war für eine Nacht super schön und werden wir, sollten wir nochmal in der Ecke sein nochmal buchen!
