This was our first "camping" experience as a family. Being able to stay in a cabin at a campground primarily dedicated to RVs was a great introduction to what we can do in the future. Really appreciated the cabin being fully stocked with cookware / dining / utensils / bed linens / towels. We cook a lot a home and wanted to do so here as well. It allowed us to travel a little lighter. Also, there were board games that we didn't discover until a day or so into our stay which we appreciated on a rainy day.
I would love to have had a stone or concrete walkway from the driveway / parking to our door. I was the only adult with 3 children and a dog so carrying luggage across the grass and then up the stairs took a bit of extra effort and time, particularly with the dew on the grass arriving late and leaving early . . . but a minor inconvenience for an otherwise great experience.
