The room was really cute and cozy. Very clean

There were no corridor lights, which I had to pull out my phone light. On the second night however they were turned on after the fact my partner fell up the stairs hitting his shin. And myself dropping a few things and making a lot of noise.

The location was very convenient. The general presentation of the apartment was excellent. Having covered parking was very convenient. The full sized fridge with freezer was excellent. The air conditioning in the living area was great. The owner was very responsive with communications. Having a washing machine and dryer is very handy in a hot climate (a measuring scoop in the washing powder box would be helpful, and some instructions such as where the powder goes too).

It's the little things that can detract from what overall would have been a wonderful stay. When I noticed there wasn't much toilet paper and soap provided I contacted the owner but was told I'd have to buy my own. This was not what I expected of a property booked via booking.com. The air conditioning didn't keep the bedroom cool at night so even with the ceiling fan it was uncomfortably hot overnight (January). The ceiling fan caused the blind to flap so when the sun came up at 5am we kept getting blinding flashes of bright sunlight making it hard to sleep until a reasonable time. The kitchen sink placement was the strangest I have ever seen (see pics) - it was in the corner making it extremely awkward to clean dishes. Putting the draining rack on the draining board made it even harder to reach into the sink. The booking information indicated a hair dryer was included but I never found it after much searching so I had to borrow one from family staying at a nearby motel.
