The Delborough Lagos

Everything!!

Nothing

The staff were accommodating and very polite. The hotel was comfortable and well equipped and the food was delicious. The gym looked well equipped and I would definitely be back to visit again

The manicure and pedicure treatments at the spa were not great the therapist needs more training to tailor her treatments - she scrapped feet too hard and caused an injury

everything. the best coffee at Piano and polite and clean staff. Honest, left my shoes after check-out and driver went back and got them intact. Hotel smells amazing

nothing

I wanted to give my mom a great experience, and check-in was awesome. The front desk staff were well trained and gave me a tour like at the Ritz-Carlton. I only had my foreign driver's license and left my bags and passport at the Helliconia Hotel because I was on a trip to Abuja. The staff used my mom's info to book my reservation. I liked how tech-savvy the room was. However, the welcome letter had someone else's name, and the room's safe was locked despite my request for it to be opened; no one helped. The room was not five-star; I felt I overpaid. The view was terrible, and the room was stained, making me hesitant to lie on the bed. My best part was talking to the doorman and bell staff, reminding me of my college days working at a five-star hotel and how we treated everyone with respect regardless of status. Reminding me of the phrase, “We are ladies and gentlemen serving ladies and gentlemen”

The room wasn't as clean as expected; the view was terrible. The waitress in the restaurant was not proactive and was laid-back. The hotel should appoint the front desk staff and the tall hostess as trainers or managers overseeing staff with a nonchalant attitude. Skylight Hotel in Addis really impressed me and I was expecting the same or more in Nigeria
