The house was great and in a good location! We spent 5 nights there and had a wonderful experience :) The house is very spacious and it was a beautiful and comfy space to come back to after being at the beach or out on the water There are a lot of fun activities and things to do within a 15 mile radius The host was very nice and could answer all my questions I would definitely recommend this place for any family looking to stay in the area

This was our third year staying at the best porch in Swansboro! We love the historic house and all the amenities it provides, and we love the location in the heart of downtown Swansboro. Brad and Imogen are great hosts and super responsive. The new kitchen remodel is fantastic. You have everything you need and more. And the little touches are so special, like the wine cooler and turntable in the kitchen to listen to vinyls while cooking a meal. The back yard is screened in and the porch really is the best on the Crystal Coast. The rooms are nice sized, the beds are comfortable, and there are 2 living rooms with tvs in almost every room of the house as well. We recommend to all!

This property is beautiful and unique. The bathrooms and kitchen have been updated and overall everything was very comfortable and well stocked. The host, Imogen, was quick to respond to questions and even helped out when there was an unexpected temporary power outage for Swansboro. You can walk to lots of stores and the water very easily. The ferry to Bear Island is about a 10 minute drive. We hope to stay there again one day.

Inside of the house was very clean and nice, the yard was terribly overgrown and weeds have taken over. The yard was so overgrown I couldn’t let my grandchildren play outside. The weeds are growing in to the electrical box and air conditioning unit outside. We didn’t use the yard outside at all. Communication with the owner was great - we had an issue with the power but he got it fixed right away. Probably wouldn’t stay here again due to the yard and parking situation.
