Great amenities and location - the pickleball court and kayaks were in great shape

8 / 10Ausgezeichnet·Juni 2026

We recently stayed at this lake house and found both positives and negatives. The house was very clean, well-maintained, and stocked with all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. There was plenty of room for our group, and we especially enjoyed the pickleball and basketball courts. The property provided ample space for everyone to relax and enjoy their time together. On the downside, the property is located at the end of a cove, and the water in that area was noticeably dirty during our visit. We were also disappointed by the smell of cigarette smoke in the house. While the odor was present throughout the home, it was especially noticeable in the master bedroom. I did not see anything in the listing stating that the property was smoke-free, but it also did not indicate that smoking was permitted, so the smell was unexpected.Overall, the house was clean, spacious, and offered great amenities, but the water quality and smoke odor affected our experience.

The place was nice and clean but we booked it to go fishing and we had to go somewhere else to fish cause what’s on the back is a canal only not very or any fish there.

The house was well stocked with everything needed to enjoy a great weekend at a lake near Austin. We especially enjoyed the pickle/basketball court and the fire pit in the evenings.
