We had a great stay here in Ellijay. The house was super clean and had everything we needed for cooking. Host replied promptly to our questions. Nice layout for a family. Dogs had fun watching the deer in the back yard. We even had a visit from a little black bear! 10 out of 10 experience!

The owners are incredibly kind and welcoming. I reached out asking for the best place nearby to take my Labrador for a cool dip in the river, and they responded quickly with great recommendations. They were genuinely excited that we were staying there and treated us more like friends than guests.While you're visiting, be sure to take the 25-minute drive into Ellijay to visit the Olive Oil Company—you won't be disappointed! And if you're in the mood for a refreshing local beer, stop by Cartecay River Brewing Company. I tried the Ellijay Ultra, and it was fantastic!If you're looking for the perfect mountain escape, don't look any further. Have your groceries delivered, explore the local hiking trails, unplug from the daily routine, and most importantly, spend quality time making memories with the people you love.We only get 18 summers with our babies, and I am so thankful for the memories we made together this past week.
