Disappointed with this unit. There is so much potential in this unit but it needs work. We have stayed at the Tides a few times previously. We LOVE this complex the pools, beach and gardens are BEAUTIFUL! The units are all individually owned and vary we realize. Upon checking about 5pm the oven did not turn on, the garbage disposal did not work at all either and there was NO hot water in the kitchen sink. My husband found the breaker panel and got the oven to work but facilities had to come in and replace a switch for the disposal. Told him about the water he said he would let someone know-it was never fixed-I also texted the property mgr-no one came by to look it was never fixed. This unit is on the ground floor and the slider door did not lock, we had to use a pole from a broom! Facilities also said they were aware of this!!!!!!! This is a safety issue on the ground floor and NOT OK! The recessed light night in the bedroom did not work at all and the lightning in the living room only half worked. The toilet seat has scuff marks on it and should be replaced-this is a $20 fix! The cabinets are peeling paint and there is a metal table on the patio outside that if you put anything on it you would slice your hand up picking it back up-it is so rusted and peeling it needs to be thrown away! The sheets were scratchy and the mattress awful! We knew not to expect the Ritz but this was next level bad! Please fix these issues and the unit would be great!
