Cocana Resort Gili Trawangan

We loved almost everything! The buggy drivers especially, Teguh and another guy who wore glasses, they were exceptionally friendly and made us feel so welcomed and comfortable. Even the receptionist wasn’t as friendly as the buggy drivers hahah. The room was squeaky clean, AC was working well, even toilet that had potential to be dirty as it is partially outdoors was spotless clean. No foul smell at all and the wood floor at shower area was clean with no mould. We called for room service and we ordered room service, all came at an appropriate timing.

The F&B unfortunately was lacking in many ways. We paid for romantic dinner by the beach. The decoration and friendliness was nice but thats about it. I understood that it was a 5 course meal, but boy did each dish took its own time coming out. We spend >1hour and only received 3 dishes. To add to that, main course came out wrong. I’ve specifically requested my meat doneness to be medium well, but it came out medium raw at best. We couldn’t wait anymore as we had things planned for the day, so we told them to send the rest to our room. And end up didnt even eat any of them as there was no heat up service. During our second day breakfast, our table was not properly set yet, we thought we’d be given our amenities after but nope. There was no salt and pepper, no lap napkin. And our orders came out so late again. We ordered 2 watermelon juice before we started eating, our drinks came out only when we were done eating. Very disappointing

Amazing everything

Location was great - West side of Gili T. (Party Music stops at 11:00 PM) and you can see the beautiful sunset right on the beach. We were upgraded to two pool Villa’s - this was a very good accommodation - lot of space and privacy - Tks. Very good breakfast.
