I made a mistake by not using (did not know) to use a LOCAL agent - could've still done that through booking. Something was amiss in front end preparing. No development/map was provided -we arrived at night. The company had needed our photo id's (licenses...front and back), and much of our "detail." Uncomfortable but maybe all that's standard now. I'd been assured it had been received after a phone call in (about protecting my sensitive info), yet - my bad -I didn't CHECK for the email of the Entry Code, exact unit location, pertinent infor. until later afternoon drive in from San Antonio. Communication was WAAAY lacking at this point as we were an hour from the property, I trying to assuage their support (my Gosh!, they still don't KNOW me?) & I & my partner was getting angrier w/ situation (not a great start to vacay) as we approached Port A, STILL with no avail of the issue of "where IS our place??" the photo they sent us after arrival-by then (after stopping along Hwy 37 at spots for internet to appease the host's agency, now in the dark, we still had NO clue how to interpret the building & unit (there were no building numbers.) They finally sent an old photo, but the search for a mustard color building wasn't correct; building had been painted another color.....we finally found it at 8:15 p.m. Not a Texas management group. All the ladies I spoke to were professional, but they really didn't know property. Room itself was ok - functional. One swooped out mattress was sub-par at best, so we doubled on the other bed. A couple of cabinet fronts loose & some deep cleaning should be necessary. Beach access is through the property & it wasn't a problem, (5 minute walk.) I interpreted the ad to be it's facing or beachfront. No.... all in all, we made it a good stay.

I like this older complex as it has a great pool, tennis courts & good location. Next time, I'll follow advice given by a smart vacationer who HELPED direct us to the unit (my information provided by Florida agency didn't get us readily to property) - USE a local booking agency. Even if its through booking .com, at least they inherently KNOW the property.

Parking

It was private and strict about who staying there. Love the bracelet on who can use the amenities.

Parking, they had rules and u saw residents didn’t respect that. They tell u where to park on the 2nd vehicle.
