The owner of the house contacted us while we were travelling to let us know we had to check in later because the house couldn't be cleaned on time. Due to the rainy weather, we had no other option but to go to a local shopping centre. We had to entertain 4 kids aged 0-6 for 3+ hours until the property was ready. As you can imagine, we spent even more money on food and parking. The host offered us a later check out which is not something we needed in the first place. They did not give us the chance to decide whether we want to keep the reservation or cancel and get a refund. It was a nice place from the look of the pictures so we all were taken aback to see the disgusting floor and furniture. Once we settled in we noticed even more dirt and debris; it was very obvious that the house hadn't been cleaned properly for months if not more than a year. The floors were so sticky and dirty that we had to practice toe walking to avoid the nastiness. Bathroom does not have a locker and does not close properly. Later on, we found out that someone hosted a party with 70 people the night before hence the mess and long time for cleaning. The house owner was aware that we would be staying over with a 3-month-old baby (0 years old as per the reservation). Even if they didn't know about the party, they should've suggested refunding us due to their inability to deep clean the place and make it suitable for an infant. I hope this review reaches more couples with small children who should avoid this place at all costs. Absolute rip-off!

The host was very quick to respond to any questions. We parked two cars on the drive and security light outside felt safe. The house was clean, warm and had everything we needed. Would definitely stay again.

Would have been good to have channels on the TV but Netflix was on there so we used that. Couldn’t find the keys to the outside patio so had to use the side entrance.
