The house had everything that I needed. The host was extremely nice. Although I cannot speak Portuguese and she couldn't speak English, we communicated without an issue with translation apps/ Whatsapp. She is very responsive to any questions. She even allowed me to extend my check out time so that I could stay in Arraial do Cabo for a bit longer. The house was also clean, the wifi is quick.
The location is at the edge of the favela inside a narrow alley. While it looks a bit creepy from the outside, I felt safe throughout my stay, but I understand this may not be acceptable for everyone. Otherwise, it is located very close to the pier for water taxis, and the main street with restaurants is just 2 minutes away. There were also a few power cuts, but usually restored within a few minutes.
