The location was good, the views were amazing and the host was a great communicator. We enjoyed our stay.

I had a wonderful stay at this property. The location was perfect — close to everything — and the view was absolutely amazing. Communication with the owner’s representative was smooth and prompt throughout my stay. I honestly couldn’t have asked for more. I hope I get the chance to book this place again if I ever come back to Vancouver!

First the good: The condo is on the 30th floor with stunning views from the balcony. It’s a large space and the two bedrooms and separate baths, and a nicely stocked kitchen and washer/dryer. Not so Good: The condo is close to a sketchy part of town and only two blocks from West Hastings street, what the locals call “skid row” there are quite a number of homeless and mentally ill people around. Not the hosts fault: There were smokers (cigarette and marijuana) out on the balcony below, and the odor made for uncomfortable sleeping or enjoying the great view from the balcony. Other observations: As noted in other reviews, there is a lot of personal stuff like someone lives there when not being rented, the furniture is dated and worn, strange exposed wiring, screws on the walls, cracked glass closet doors by the washer closet, living area lacks any decent light, the lamp by the couch barely gives off any illumination, TV does not offer basic cable so we could not watch TV my apps (Netflix, etc.) are in the U.S. they don’t work in Canada. Beware of the pantry items and oils, some are as old as 6 years past expiration! The shower in the primary has a hand held shower head with no place to attach for a shower. Beds were so-so, watch out if sleeping in the guest room, you can smack your head on overhanging area above the pillows! Cleanliness needs improvement, looks like a cursory cleaning takes place but there was dust build up on the shelves in the gues
