Perfect cottage for a family of four, we stayed in several around the country but this was the best. Would love to return soon!

The location in Helmsley was really convenient particularly the footpath just behind the house which came out at the market place in a liitle over five minutes. There are plenty of excellent cafes and independant shops in the centre of town together with a reasonable choice of pubs and restaurants.Hemlsley itself is ideally placed for visiting National Trust and English Heritage properties as well as trips to the coast. We found that a drive to Thirsk to catch the train into York was a stress-free way to visit the city.We would certainly recommend 'The Garth' .

A very comfortable and warm house, with its own drive for parking and a private back garden. The location was very quiet, but only 5 mins walk into the town centre.
