We had an incredible stay. From the moment we arrived, the service was incredible! Bianca’s service (massage) was absolutely outstanding — warm, thoughtful and genuinely welcoming. After a long day and night of travel, Nine Dots somehow managed to wash away all the “travel ick” and immediately made us feel relaxed and cared for. The beds were wonderfully comfortable, the art throughout the hotel was phenomenal, and the attention to detail was exceptional. I also loved thoughtful touches such as the room lights being activated by the key — such a simple, environmentally conscious feature. It felt as though every detail of the hotel had been considered.

Honestly, very little. Our stay was far too short — we would happily have stayed longer. If I had to stretch I may suggest a comfier chair in the room to put your feet up.

Nine dots is a lovely hotel set right on the oldest street in Ponta Delgado. The staff was excellent — very helpful with recommendations for local places to visit, restaurants, etc. They really helped make our stay special! Our room was spacious, very comfortable, and super clean with a.balcony overlooking the street (with big wooden shutters to close for light and sound). Breakfast was excellent. We highly recommend!

Most challenging part was parking the rental car. The street is pedestrian only so you have to figure out how to drop your bags at check in (you can call and they will come to help you). There is a parking garage nearby you can have access to for €10/day so once you find it the first time, it’s not difficult. An easy tip that would help a lot is for the hotel to make a little map they can hand you with the fob to find the garage.

Der Blick aus dem Fenster ist auf einem heruntergekommenen Gebäude. Der Lärm der Flugzeuge. Zimmer und Service entsprechen nicht den Erwartungen eines Hotels dieser Kategorie und Preis. Kleinkarierte Antworten des Personals nach einer Nachfrage von Keksen - Wert 2 Euro - diese sind nur am ersten Tag vorgesehen und zu besorgen in einem Supermarkt. Selbst als ich mit leeren Händen aus dem Supermarkt zurückkam, gab es keine Nachsicht (obwohl ich klargemacht hatte, dass ich gerne die Kekse bezahlt hätte). Man wollte den Manager fragen: Ich erhielt jedoch nie eine Antwort.
