I travel a lot for work and have encountered some poorly maintained hotels before. This was uniquely terrible. It appears this hotel was either being used for long term housing or has been swayed in. The first room I was given appeared to have been breached by a SWAT team as the door and frame were both severally damaged around the locks. The door in the next room down was similarly but more severally damaged, as the key card reader, lock and knob were all missing. The floor was dirty and the toilet and tubs was stained and old. I went to the front desk and was given a different room, this room had similar but less severe damage to the door and frame but the door was stuck on the frame as one of the hinges was loose making it difficult to open and close the door. The floors were filthy covered in was appeared to be burn marks and an oily substance. At this point I decided for my own safety and comfort I would salary elsewhere. The employee who attempted to help me was excellent and very friendly but ultimately I decided this was not where I want to stay there. The price was not particularly low, location not very good, the pool does not appear to be opened and if it is I would not use it based solely on its appearance. The hotel has a no refund policy which is a bummer for me as I paid for a room I did not stay in but I suppose that policy is the only way they manage to make any money. There are far better hotels in better areas close to this for similar prices.

Front desk was nice
Updates had been done but in reality, it needs a whole new facelift

We asked for another ice bucket as ours had a crack. They did not have one and the clerk called the manager to get the OK to give me a new cheap plastic ice bucket. I told him forget it and just give me a new plastic bag to line the bucket. At first he said he did not even have that! Finally he went behind the wall and brought me a trash bag to use. OMG! The pool was gross and green. There were no signs on our floor to direct you to which room numbers were down which hallway. The elevator was filthy. They only had de-caf coffee and said the regular coffee was "broken.... the management". In our room the toilet paper holder fell right out of the wall, there was not one screw holding it in place. The beds were VERY comfortable, the shower worked great!

No washcloths in room. Had to go to front desk to get one.
Had asked front desk for wake up call. It never happened.
Front desk person was friendly.

When we arrived, I had to use the bathroom urgently, but the key cards we were issued didn't work. We went back to the lobby, the lobby bathroom door was hung poorly and would only fully close when a custodian forced it shut, but it had no lock, and tbough it was supposefly ADA, the paper towel dispenser did not work. The clerk offered to come up if the new key cards didn't work, but admitted since it would be hard to reach her directly, we'd have to come down again. They did work, thankfully. When my elderly, disabled husband and I finally gained entry to the room, we found the floor to be visually dirty and a wipe of the surface came away dirty. Therefore, we had no confidence in the cleanliness of the linens and the rest of the room, so we left and found lodging elsewhere. My son, who booked and paid for the room, called a couple of hours earlier to see if we'd checked in (as he hadn't heard from us about our driving pit stops and we'd both left our phones in the car when he called) and was told they could not answer him about whether we'd checked in, even though he'd paid for the visit and had a confirmation number to prove it. Your rep Jasmen did a live chat with our son, and a decision by a hotel manager about issuing a refund is pending.

We arrived late and exhausted. I was handed the key and sent on my way, wandering around looking for our room because there was no signage to indicate room numbers. Once we found the room, I was appalled. The safety latch was broken, there was no trash bin anywhere, the temperature never went below stifling, and there was only a small bit of toilet paper left on the roll. My husband went to the front desk to ask for more toilet paper and was told the only person with a key was the day manager coming in at 8:00 AM. When the issue became critical, the night clerk gave us the rest of the roll from the employee bathroom (hence 3 stars for service). There was a used towel hanging on the back of the bathroom door when we got there, and only 2 towels for 3 people. The free breakfast included a run to Dunkin because the coffee dispenser was broken and only had decaf. I will say, the bed linens appeared to be clean (I checked carefully!) and the employees were pleasant and tried to be helpful.

Upon arrival it took 20 minutes to get our room with a reservation. We get to our room and we have to hip check the door to get it open and had to slam it to shut. Looked like the door had tried to be broken into. There were bugs in the windows and on the bathroom floor. Floor couldnt have been mopped in weeks. Feet walking from the bed to the bathroom completely black,Disgusting. Toilet did not refill. Had to take the tank cover off the toilet for the water to refill the tank. The one saving grace was that the beds were extremely comfortable and we did have a good night sleep. Unfortunately, There will be no way that we will ever stay in this hotel ever again.

This was the worst experience I have ever had at a hotel. When I got there the people in the lobby were having a hard time checking in. A woman was in tears because her sink didn't drain and there was no AC or fan working in her room. They gave me a key to a room with a woman already staying there. The second room was filthy and they had never changed the sheets. The third room had a door that you had to turn the handle in the opposite direction to open. And when I got it open, the AC wasn't working. The condition of the building was in disrepair: chipped stucco, cracks everywhere, not really clean. Their cancellation policy is 24 hours but how was I to know that it was so bad the day before? The woman at the desk said she would find me a room but I wasn't risking it. I checked out right then and was out over $400.

The shower was extremely dirty and the items were used. For instance, the lotion was half full, it had been used. And the other items. The front desk lady keep telling the customer the whole hotel had no caffeinated coffee. The customer came down three times to tell the clerk that the heat was too hot in his room. I went in my room and had caffeinated coffee in a brown bag. The clerk denied my card for $1.60. I keep giving her credit cards and she keep saying they are not working. I called my card company's. They disclosed that nothing was error or gone through from the hotel expect the online reservation I made with the hotel. The mattress in the room keep falling of the bed frame if a person lay on left or right side. The person had to stay in the middle of the bed to keep it level.

Nice, clean room,, the woman at the front desk was very welcoming and friendly.. However, unable to get the heater working over night,, the towel bar in the bathroom broken.......all in all it was a pleasant stay and would return in the future.

Mattresses need to be replaced. Room was steamiñg hot when i got there. Hallway had not been vacuumed in days. No extra toilet paper or any tissue paper. Staff were lovely but building was falling apart.

Nice to have fridge in room.

Had to turn the heat off, and even with the entire unit off, it felt like we were sitting in an oven. I get it, I lived in Vermont for 7 years, everything is incredibly insulated. But especially since the front desk agent said they just had to renovate last year, I'm surprised they did not put in wall thermostats to control the HVAC. People are used to different temperatures and some people need it to be hot or cold in order to get a good night's rest. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful, so all I can say is update the HVAC and I'll come back.

Many things broken or didn’t work well including entry and bathroom doors or adjustment on the thermostat. Dusty and dirty throughout. Bed frame posed risk for injury. Stained bed spread and wash cloth. No facial tissue and second roll of TP was hard to come by.
Breakfast was good, they do allow pets and within 15 minutes of UVM and other venues.

Staff was very accommodative and responsive, especially Tim. When I had an issue, he did his best to take care of it, including changing my room when TV was inoperative. Minor issues need to be corrected like no tissues in both rooms, shower takes a long time to get hot. Ice machine only working on 3rd floor.

The room was clean but there was a bag of rotisserie chicken left in the microwave that I found when I reheated pizza. The heat was overpowering to the point I had to shut it off and it was STILL warm. The toilet ran almost constantly for our entire stay. The biggest negative aspect of this trip was the lack of security. There was no latch to catch the safety bar on the right-hand side of the door and the fact that the door did not automatically lock when leaving the room.. As I was traveling with 2 younger girls (15 and 11), I found this unacceptable .

The check in process was a bit slow and unorganized, room was average, but the toilet definitely ran making it very loud and distracting to rest and relax. Could improve on overall maintenance

When we arrived the heat in the room was blasting. There was no way to control the temperature. We had to turn off the heat and leave the window wide open (in January) to cook thing down. We tried to call down to the front desk twice on different occasions, and nobody answered. Also, the toilet ran non stop.

The corporate attention to the facility was very poor but the young vivacious, easy to please staff was amazing. They bent over backwards to help the residents.
BUT, the fuses were blowing on the waffle machine at breakfast. The furniture in the room was so large for the space you could not move in the room. The bathroom door put dents in the nearby wall. There was no soup or shampoo in dispensers in shower and the small bottles provided are a danger to the environment when disposed. It is so frustrating when the windows do not open to allow fresh air.
Again the staff was AMAZING, they all deserve raises in their salary.

It was terrible. We left at 12:30am because the room was so hot. Air wouldn’t work. They couldn’t get another key to work to move our room. No manager on site. Workers knew very little. Just poor experience. Never stay there again.

It was gross. The hallways had trash, steriafoam, dirt, were not vaccuumed, swept. Room had stained blankets, sheets. Bathroom didnt have enough towels. Mirror was gross

The housekeeper Dawn was lovely. The manager was atrocious. There is dog feces everywhere on the property. There are homeless people everywhere and smoking on every floor though it is a non-smoking area. I am disabled (invisible disability) and the manager charged me for my service dog because she said "You don't look disabled". I would have gone to a more expensive hotel but on disability funds are limited. I have an auto-immune disease and FULL FECAL INCONTINENCE due to a birth defect. Awful does not even begin to describe it.

I'm not one of those who needs to much when it comes to staying at a hotel. Really I just need a place to sleep that's clean. The property is not a Ritz Carlton nor is it supposed to be. The staff was friendly and the room was a good size and clean. The hotel is currently going through renovations. It's a good basic hotel, ideal if all you need is a place to sleep that's clean. I didn't have any issues, however it's not for everyone. This place did meet my needs. It's located just off of the interstate, with food and gas close by.

The Hotel was very convenient and the room was perfect for what we were looking for.

This hotel is quite rundown but they are working on it. The heater didn’t work well. There were hairs in the tub on check in that were still there the following day despite our request to have it cleaned. However, desk staff was very friendly.

Very apparent that the Inn was understaffed, but the staff worked hard to please. Great selection for breakfast. Housekeeping was inadequate and sporadic. Coffee maker did not work and although reported to the front desk it was not replaced or fixed. Bathroom was very small and initially not clean - it appeared that there were blood spatters on the wall - corrected by end of day. We had a small dog - their policy was that guests with pets were to be on first floor. We were assigned a "better room" on the 3rd floor. There were no first floor rooms available. Disappointed and overpriced for the value received for the 5 nights there.

The hotel structure needs a lot of repair. Doesn’t feel very inviting. Mattress was old and sank in the middle.

Bed was very worn and uncomfortable. Bathroom not very clean

Terrible. Quality Inn was dirty— filthy, actually. And we were told by staff that that the inn was used to house homeless people during the pandemic— and that’s why the hotel was so beat up and in poor condition. They also have no cleaning staff.
