Good location and amenities, central in Seoul and easily accessible by public transportation.

A little run Down and smelled like mold but was otherwise nice

This is a hostel/dormitory more than a hotel. With that in mind, the place was great and I'll happily stay here again. There is no staff - you check yourself in and out and will have to keep your room clean yourself. You get a door PIN ahead of time that enables you to enter. The place seems geared toward a younger audience (exposed brick walls, that kind of vibe). There is a small kitchen area you can use, and it has two washing machines for doing laundry as well. My room had a small desk and a fridge. The bathroom was spacious and doubles as the shower. Water temperature and pressure were good. Drain took long, but worked. The room was overall decently clean. The air conditioning worked perfectly and seemed rather new. The bed was nice and big, as was the blanket. Two comfortable pillows were provided as well. A clothes hanger in the room allows you to hang a jacket or shirt, or a few pieces of laundry. Free WiFi is provided and worked perfectly fine. The location is super convenient, with lots of food and night life right outside the hotel, a convenience store within a one minute walk, and multiple train and bus stops in very close proximity. You can even walk to Seoul station in 15 to 20 minutes. Overall, I would definitely recommend the place to anyone who prioritizes a cheap stay in a great location over a luxurious experience. Perfect for younger people who don't need the room for more than a shower and some shut-eye.

A few squished flies decorated the walls, weird they didn't clean them off. There is a blue light bug zapper at the entrance of the hotel, and whenever a bug flies in, it makes a very loud and sudden sound that kept waking me up the first two nights, even though my room was on the second floor. However, I eventually got used to the sound. The mattress was clearly pretty old, because despite a mattress protector, I felt every spring. You could also see some stains, which didn't bother me but might bother others. Still, a new mattress seems in order. There is a curtain, but it is hardly blocking any light, so if you want to sleep in late, you might need an eye mask, as the room will be super bright once the sun comes up. There is very little space to hang your clothing to dry after washing it, so make sure to only wash a few things at a time. The fridge was initially not plugged in, which I didn't notice, so the stuff I had put in the first night was warm the next morning. The provided towels had a very strong mildewy odor immediately after one use, indicating that they are either not washed or dried correctly. If this bothers you, consider bringing your own, or washing them yourself. One night, guests of another room came home late and drunk and were super loud until about 5 in the morning; because of the thin walls, it felt like they were in the room with me - this didn't bother me, but be aware that this could happen. Bring ear plugs just in case.

The stay was surprisingly better than I expected! We booked a 5-person room even though there were only 3 of us, so the space was more than enough for us. The room and toilet were clean, the water pressure was good, and it’s very close to the subway station, which was super convenient. There’s also a CU Mart within walking distance, which was really convenient whenever we got hungry or needed something. Other facilities like the washing machine and microwave were also really useful, especially for a longer stay. Overall, it was a convenient and pleasant stay, and better than I expected 👍🏻

The only downside was that taking a taxi can be a little confusing, as it usually drops you at the back of the building and you’ll need to walk around 200m to reach the inn. The alley to the hostel is quite narrow, but it felt safe as there are CCTV cameras along the way. There is also a shortcut from the front once you know where it is.

Location was good. I was able to transport by train and bus just one block away.

There were a couple of big holes on bathroom and pipes were exposed. Also, doors on room and bathroom does not close so, we had not privacity. I requested the staff to reacomodate us on other room that was available, but they did nothing.
