Wielkość apartamentu - osobny salon, dwie sypialnie, dzieci miały swoją przestrzeń

Kontakt z klientem - po przyjściu do wysłanej lokalizacji biura w celu wpłaty depozytu nie było biura, nikt nie odebrał nawet telefonu. Kuchnia w opłakanym stanie, woda w umywalce prawie nie odpływała.

It’s a nice, spacious property quite close to the old town and the beach. Facilities were fully functional and the bathroom was very modern. Overall the place and the owner were very pleasant.

It’s located on the top of a hill so it is quite a climb back up to the property after a day out. Luckily ubers there are quite cheap so we tried to avoid walking as much as possible. It would’ve also been nice to have a washing machine, as the local laundromat is quite terrible and didn’t even wash or dry our clothes and towels properly. I would’ve recommended bringing more clothes than you think you need to avoid needing to wash them, however it became apparent after the first day that you can’t have dirty clothes inside (even in plastic bags) as the smell attracted an entire ant colony to our room. I feel sorry for the owner as we found a bottle of ant poison under the sink so they’ve probably been dealing with this for a while. If you’re going to stay here, I would recommend first of all keeping your dirty socks, underwear and swimsuits in ziplock bags and placing them high up somewhere (we placed ours on top of the wall lamps in the living room) and then spraying all the ants with bug spray and mopping the entire house (as we had to do multiple times) then leave small amounts of the ant poison along the cracks in the skirting board. You might still find an ant or 2 but this was the only thing that kept them away from our underwear for the rest of the trip. They did stay away from the kitchen but I wouldn’t keep any food out in the open just in case. Speaking of cleaning, it would’ve been nice to have at least some soap or something as the apartment comes with zero cleaning products. Just toilet paper and a mop and a sponge for the sink. On the first night we had to go out and buy dish soap, hand soap, laundry detergent, tissues, wipes etc to clean the apartment and ourselves from the ants. Even just some wipes would be enough for the first day.

In eerste instantie hadden wij een appartement in het centrum van Albufeira, alles volgens wens op loopafstand. Helaas door een behoorlijke waterlekkage moesten wij verkassen naar een moderner appartement 8 km buiten Albufeira. Niets dan lof over de behulpzaamheid en aangedragen oplossing vanuit de organisatie. Is wat ons betreft een betrouwbare en vriendelijke organisatie.

Dat we niet meer op loopafstand zaten.

Als je van Ikea houdt is "this the place to be". 😀 Appartement zag er bij aankomst keurig uit. Bedden waren fantastisch en ook badkamer was helemaal prima. Voor de rest netjes en schoon. Op loopafstand grote Aldi en Lidl voor de boodschappen (verse broodjes!) Voor de deur ruime parkeerplaats voor de auto.

Het appartement bleek geen airco te hebben. Wel stonden er een aantal ventilatoren maar bij temperaturen rond 30 graden geven die weinig extra verkoeling. De keuken mag wel een upgrade gebruiken. Een ouderwets gasfornuis (zonder aansteker) die me deed denken aan vroeger thuis en geen vaatwasser aanwezig. Er was ook geen afwaskit dus we moesten eigenlijk direct al op pad om iets te kopen (afwasmiddel, gasaansteker). Het balkon was wel klein zodat je eigenlijk alleen maar in een rij naast elkaar kon zitten. Met z'n vieren samen ontbijten aan tafel lukt helaas niet. Na terugkomst van een dagje strand eigenlijk nauwelijks ruimte om handdoeken op te hangen (geen groot wasrek aanwezig). Het bleek een dag voor aankomst dat we ook nog een borg(€100,- p.p.) moesten betalen (was bij de boeking voor ons niet duidelijk). Dit wordt pas ruim een week na terugkomst weer terug betaald. Dit ging niet via de Booking.com app maar via WhatsApp. Onze indruk was dat dit nog weer een andere partij was die als tussenpersoon fungeert. Al met al overheerst bij ons na afloop een beetje een negatief sentiment omdat het appartement niet geheel aan onze verwachtingen voldeed en we te weinig value-for-money hebben gehad.
