We booked this house as we were going to a wedding nearby and decided to make a little vacation out of it. The house was in a great location and well stocked. It had everything we needed and easy communication for any questions we had

The second floor shower needs either grab bar or non-slip strips on the floor. Our 91 yr old father slipped and almost hit his head. I’m in the medical business and would recommend you consider this. Otherwise, it was a wonderful stay.

After renting many homes over the years on rental sites, this house was one of the only ones that looked exactly as the pictures portrayed it. Very clean, well stocked with everything you need, and an unbelievable view. The only complaint I might have was that the beds were a little firm but otherwise we would definitely rent here again. Can’t wait to come back.

This property is in a great location, right across from short sands Beach and has great views of the water. Our family would definitely stay here again.

We celebrated our 35th wedding anniversary with a family vow renewal service at the Ellis Park gazebo. This property accommodated all 9 of us comfortably. The location was ideal as we walked to the center of town for everything easily. Our favorite thing was the breathtaking view of the ocean from the deck. We would absolutely stay here again!

Our group of ten thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The view was beautiful. A pleasant walk to the lighthouse. The house was clean and just right for us. Communication was great and we were allowed to tweak our check-in. So much appreciated.

This house is perfectly situated just steps for short sands beach. The large deck overlooking the ocean had lots of seating and an awesome view. The kitchen was well equipped and the living room was nicely decorated. The beds are definitely on the very firm side so it may be a good idea to bring a comforter to lay on top of. We were pleasantly surprised to get a text that we could check in early. Even though we weren’t able to, we definitely appreciated the communication. Check in couldn’t have been easier

Exactly what we expected for a family of five with 3 young kids. Beach access was perfect. Easy walk downtown! Would stay again next year 100%!!

Property was absolutely beautiful. Right across from the beach for great views and easy access, and only a few minutes walk to downtown, playground, York's Animal Kingdom, and a few breweries. We even walked to the Nubble lighthouse with 2-3 year olds in the wagon! The sun rises and sets were beautiful and we were closer enough to hear the concerts at the gazebo from the deck. We had the best seats ever on the deck to watch a fireworks display, you round out the vacation experience. Would definitely stay again!

We had the most wonderful stay at this beach house which has the best location on the planet! It’s a beautiful home - great layout all the amenities just perfect. Beds were not comfortable so we would bring cushioning if we stayed here again. Otherwise absolutely perfect!!!!

I’m not sure you can find a better location in terms of view and vicinity to the beach, we were thrilled. The house was very clean, and had nice amenities including towels and linens. The only complaint would be that the quality of the mattresses (specifically the full mattress upstairs) are very poor.

The property is conveniently located to Short Sands Beach, the surrounding town area and a kid friendly playground. We enjoyed the views from the kitchen/family room and deck overlooking the bay and beach area.

Location was perfect! Loved the deck overlooking the ocean. House was a good size for our group. We were given a code to the door when we got there but it was the wrong code. There was a large pile of dirty linens when we got there and the beds didn’t have sheets. Heidi came by within 30 minutes to take away the dirty linens and bring fresh ones. Unfortunately we didn’t have enough linens for all the beds when it came time to sleep. Someone came the next day after I requested some extra linens. We used the grill a lot. It was dirty with old food when we used it the first night. The second day we needed to exchange tanks and then the grill didn’t work. Had to contact Heidi and she sent someone over the next day to fix it. Later we were walking down to the beach with the kids and could smell propane. The repair person left the propane tank on. It had been on for hours. These unfortunate experiences didn’t ruin our trip, but it would have been nicer without them.

We very much enjoyed our stay in the extremely clean, updated and perfectly placed property. What a view!! We saw both sunrises and sunsets right from the deck. Everything we requested was promptly and successfully addressed (an iron and we had trouble with the new streaming service on the TV). We would have no problem recommending this property to others. The only non-positive comments we did have was that the mattresses were a bit hard and some bedrooms could have used room darkening shades. We had a great stay!

What a perfect location and house to enjoy a week with extended family. The deck is amazing and if we were not on the beach we were on the deck. We would definitely return!

With my Daughter's graduation from UNH, we opted to make it a quick family vacation with Grandparents, Parents and Siblings. Many locations were already booked but I found this great property in York overlooking Short Sands Beach. While the weather didn't fully cooperate, when we had a view it was beautiful and the area provided plenty of walking on pavement for the Grandparents. With another student just completing his Freshman year at UNH, good chance we'll be back again over the next 3 years

Great location, could’ve done nothing except sit and look at the amazing view from the second story. Definitely want to go back.
