The house is exactly as described - very quirky and different. We loved Baxter's Bar and the seating areas were lovely; the games room was a big hit with our little one (and not so young ones too, if we're honest!). The location is ideal for Ramsgate - situated at the top of a bank minutes away from bars, restaurants and the marina. The local shop was less than a minute away and there was a pub in the same street that was fantastic for breakfast. The house is full of character and decorated with a unique style. The only thing we didn't 'like' was the downstairs bedroom's shower which had no door - quite a shock for our elderly parents. If you are travelling with older guests please be aware that due to the nature and age of this beautiful house, the stairs are very steep and there's only a rope rather than a handrail. The nearest toilet is also up a few stairs so be mindful if mobility is even a slight issue. Other than those two niggles we had an amazing time in a lovely property.
