The Roost Guest House, updated country home comfort in Sussex area.
Übernachte in einem modernisierten Haus aus dem letzten Jahrhundert mit einem großen Bereich für geselliges Beisammensein, einer voll ausgestatteten, riesigen Küche, einem Billardtisch, WLAN, einer Feuerstelle und einem Whirlpool. Fahre mit deinem ATV, Schneemobil oder Fahrrad direkt vom Grundstück auf die Strecke. Es gibt reichlich Platz zum Parken von Anhängern. Zentral in der Provinz gelegen, eignet sich die Unterkunft perfekt als Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge. Eure Gruppe kann auf den Wanderwegen im Tal zu den Teichen oder malerischen Wasserfällen, den Aussichtspunkten und Bächen wandern oder radeln. Es ist nur eine kurze Autofahrt zum Skigebiet, zum Golfplatz, zum Open-Air-Drive-In, zu Wandmalereien oder zu Geschäften, Restaurants und der Bierstube in Sussex. Nach einem Tag voller Erkundungen kehrt ihr zum „Roost“ zurück und genießt die fantastische Aussicht und die farbenprächtigen Sonnenuntergänge, ein Lagerfeuer, den Sternenhimmel und wacht mit den Vögeln auf! Wir sind haustierfreundlich und haben Kunsthandwerks- und Sammlerläden sowie eine kostenlose Tauschbibliothek vor Ort!

The roost house is so lovely. It is rural but close to everything we needed. We loved the history in the home. The hot tub and pool table were a real hit for the kids. We wished we had more time as there was so much to offer. The surrounding beaches and provincial parks were stunning. The house had many board games and activities for the kids. Marie was so helpful and kind. Would recommend for all ages!

My family and I stayed at the Roost house and greatly enjoyed the stay. It was better than expected, really cute place, clean, plenty of room and comfortable. My son had fun trying to count all the roosters on the first floor. The countryside was beautiful. Marie was a great host. She was full of helpful tips and thought of little thing to make the stay best it can be. I enjoyed the bath with bath bombs and tea lights in the evening. Husband and son played pool. Dog had a nice yard to run in. If we go up that way again, we would definitely stay here again.

The check-in was very smooth and thoughtful! Our hosts told us of a few places to eat in Sussex on our way in, and offered to help with laundry as we had been traveling for several days at that time. The kitchen was fully stocked, we didn't need a thing! The bedrooms were very comfortable, and we needed two bathrooms which was hard to find for a bigger family. The home even had a piano which my oldest daughter played a lot. We enjoyed the pool table and hot tub in the evenings. The area was very quiet and remote, if that is what you are seeking. I enjoyed sitting on the porch in the mornings watching all kinds of birds fly about. Marie was very helpful, and always a text away for directions, restaurants, and local activities. I would definitely recommend this unique and cozy place to stay if you are wanting to explore NB--we loved Fundy National Park and spent a day on Prince Edward Island.
