We enjoyed our stay overall, and the location was wonderful. Being surrounded by the forest made for a peaceful setting, and it was a great home base for exploring the area. There were a few things that could be improved. The dogs next door barked every time we returned to the cabin and also woke us up some mornings at 6:00 a.m. The cabin could also have been stocked a little better. While I realize the listing probably noted there wasn't a dishwasher or microwave (I simply overlooked it), and I brought a bunch of food prepared that needed to be warmed up in a microwave. We made due. Little things like, having hand soap available in the kitchen would have been appreciated. The laundry area was also a bit confusing to navigate. We found dirty laundry left on top of the dryer and towels still inside the dryer when we arrived.Despite those minor issues, we had a nice stay and really appreciated the beautiful forest location.

The place was very well cared for. The host was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and easy to communicate with throughout the stay. Everything was comfortable, and exactly as described. I really appreciated the attention to detail and the warm hospitality. I would definitely recommend staying here and would be happy to return.

“We only stayed for one night, but overall it was a very pleasant experience. The cabin is spacious and comfortable, and it’s especially suitable for families traveling with children.

This is a pleasant cabin in the woods, only a few minutes from Arrowhead Village shopping center and Lake Arrowhead (though there is no public access to the joys of this lake unless you are a member of the Lake Arrowhead homeowner's association.) The local nearby grocery store at Arrowhead Village is Stater Brothers, a first-class store. As described by the owner, this is an older property but it has its charms. It is clean and well-maintained. The kitchen has most of what you might need in terms of pots and pans, flatware, and dishes. The washer and dryer are a bonus, though we did not use them on this trip. The gas grill worked nicely. This cabin, like the rest of the neighborhood, is set on a steep and narrow one-lane street, but once you get used to that, getting around is easy. Be on guard walking your dog on the street due to occasional car passing uncomfortably close. Enjoyed birdwatching from our balcony. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend this location.
