It was a pleasant surprise that it's so far away from Amalfi - it is certainly NOT as close as Booking.com/Google claims. It takes some 1200 steep steps to walk down to Amalfi, or a bus ride, however, that makes it a wonderful place if you want to stay away from the buzz. The views are gorgeous, and the best is that it's close to the small square where local life was hugely appreciated in a region wheer us, tourists, walk around like hords!
The apartment was nice, and the roof terrace perfect.
Communication with Francesco was OK but not great.
More knives in the kitchen, please!
The bedroom itself is not great for big people (but if you're not too tall/big, it's just fine.

I enjoyed Pogerola village - it has everything you need, friendly people, and is perfect if you want to be away from the hustle and bustle of town. The views from the terrace are brilliant - I had a beautiful sunset one night.
It’s important to know that it’s a 7min walk up steps to the village and then a 20min bus into town. The buses run once an hour most of the time. It didn’t bother me at all as I wasn’t in a hurry but I think it’s important to know.
As another reviewer mentioned, it’s not clear in the pictures that the bed is on a mezzanine - it does not have a bedroom as such - and the mezzanine has a sloping roof so if there are two of you, you’d probably both have to get in/out of bed on the same side.
Also worth noting that the terrace is up a spiral staircase.

Fantastiskt läge, utsikten från den stora terassen och den mysiga lägenheten har allt man behöver. Gångavstånd till buss, restauranger och mataffär var ett stort plus. Enkel kontakt med värdarna som var vänliga och hjälpsamma.
Fanns inget att klaga på mer än att tvättmaskinen var under reparation och det kom in myror i köket. Annars var allt över förväntan.
