The Rudloe is an exceptional place to stay. I started my visit in the shepherd’s hut, which was a wonderfully comfortable and unique experience, with beautiful views. I then moved into the house, where the room was equally exquisite. Everything felt special, thoughtful and full of character. I absolutely loved my stay and would definitely return!
Honestly, there wasn’t anything I didn’t like! I loved every part of my stay and would happily come back again. The Rudloe is a truly special place.

had dinner and breakfast. dinner menu (starters) slightly limited. meat pate, fish pate and one other. i like a limited menu but too much pate! food great though.
i stayed in the separate building. the communal area, landing stairs were grubby, marks on car[pet and walls etc but i think you are probably in the process of tidying it all up

The character and some of the art and artifacts displayed. That was in the old house but this could not be said about the newer property we were effectively forced to stay in
The rigidity of not being able to stay in the old house if you weren’t able to commit to being in the property by 11.00 pm. What an ancient draconian rule. Hence we were forced to stay in the less superior modern property
