Tempe Hotel Sydney

I've stayed at the Tempe a couple of times now. I like it because I can walk to it from Sydney's international terminal and the price is always fair. (I travel with a backpack). The rooms, for sure, have their quirks, but everything works and it's clean. The pub downstairs serves up great meals. It's a short walk to a nearby train station (which doesn't charge an airport supplement) to go into Sydney. Some reviewers mentioned that it's hard for Ubers to stop on the main road outside. I've never had a problem with this, but I've always left very early in the morning and a car always comes within minutes. I want to give a special shout out to the super nice staff. I recently had a change of plan and had to cancel a reservation at the last minute. The remaining nights were promptly refunded. A big thumbs up. I look forward to staying here next year when I'm back in Australia.

The staff were very friendly and accommodating, the location was perfect for our needs, very clean & tidy,

All was good

Great renovations to the rooms & accomodation upstairs area as a whole. Quiet location considering proximity to the road & excellent for an early international flight. Good pub food with lovely staff.

Bed was a bit soft for my liking & the balcony needs to feel a bit more inviting

Close to airport

The hotel bar is open till 4am, beware if you are trying to catch sleep before an early flight as the sound from the bar might not let you sleep well.
