The cottage was small but comfortable, nicely furnished and decorated and not too far from the city centre. As a base to explore on foot it was perfectly fine. We walked into Bath (20 mins or so) but didn't fancy the walk back in the evening as it was dark and we were usually tired by then. Happily there were frequent buses from the bus station. The cottage is close to the road but we weren't bothered by any noise. Communication with the manager was good. Bath has lots to see and do and we enjoyed our stay.

I've fed back to the manager some issues around cleanliness in the cottage that need addressing. The sofa was stained, some areas and items in the kitchen weren't very clean and the extractor fan in the bathroom wasn't working. He's promised to address these. It took the shine off our stay slightly, but hopefully a bit of a refresh will mean future guests don't experience this.

Lovely cottage with everything you would need to stay for a short or long period. Beautifully decorated and extremely clean. In an interesting location on a quiet road up a hill. 5 min walk to bus routes and local Tesco
