Hampton Inn & Suites Omaha Un Medical Center Area

It was very clean and in the middle of downtown.

The beds were uncomfortable, the cleaning staff was noisy, and the parking was terrible

Breakfast was good, plenty of options. Hot foods were mostly the same each day. Plenty of options at soda fountain.

More handle bars in shower. I slipped and almost busted my head open. The one and only bar in shower was not within reach.

Room was very nice. Thankfully got to move rooms due to the TV not working. Pool area is very nice, especially at sunset. Breakfast was well stocked & changed hot food options each day. We liked the sliding barn door to the bathroom.

Construction was a little bit of a pain. There were less spots to park in while checking in. Oddly, the toilet paper holders were loose in both rooms.

The breakfast was nice. They did run out of food and then we had to wait for more omelets. The bathroom was nice and large and had a nice size vanity. The beds were comfortable.

The TV was not good. Looks like there was Direct TV, but when you went to the guide and chose a station, it was totally a different show. We tried to watch the football game and that was when it was not the game and it was something totally different. Also, watching TV in the sitting room, it kept loosing single and was very frustrating. This should be fixed. I don't think the security was very good at this location. Anyone off the street could take the elevator to any floor. The lobby was on the 2nd floor, so anyone could come in and did not have to go through the lobby to get into the building and to any floor. There should be better security. I did not like the parking situation. I understand the underground parking had a fee of $15.00/day, and there was a parking lot and street parking for free. We elected to park in the free parking as when I made our reservations, I saw no where in the listing that the parking had a fee. Then when we went to check out they tried to charge us the parking fee that we did not even use. They did take that off, but if I wouldn't have checked, we still would have been giving that charge on the card for incidentals.
